What is Coaching?

At As You, we use a style of coaching called Transformative Coaching.

People often think coaching is about changing behaviours. Yes, that is part of it but the more important part is being able to discover and adapt the drivers for our behaviours. So these are our world views, beliefs, values and identity. True coaching is about changing those. When we can understand the drivers and adapt our actions, that is when we get positive lasting results.

There are 3 key steps to the Transformative Coaching process:

1) Explore the topic presented by the client

2) Discover what are the client’s barriers to change, typically their internal beliefs and values

3) Design actions and accountability for the client’s journey of change

1:1 Coaching
This is where we partner with you one on one. Each session is 60 minutes. We typically work with clients over a period of three months with 4 - 6 sessions. Our standard rates for personal coaching are $180 per hour.
