We have had our first and second huis as a group of wahine Asian, where we have talked about the challenges we encounter in the workplace and discussed as a community the solutions to these challenges. A summary of what was discussed is here.

This will be our third hui where we deliberately invite our friends, colleagues and allies to come and hear our stories and challenges.

So this is not your typical Friday night drink. It is a Friday night drink where wahine Asian connect with you through sharing our stories and asking for your understanding and allyship.

4pm - arrive
4.15pm - intro to this hui
4.30pm - talks/presentations on the challenges that wahine Asian face in the workplace
4.55pm - break into small groups to talk about reflections and actions
5.20pm - bring it back together as a big group
5.35pm - networking
