Rose is a Wellington-based writer, who was awarded the Modern Letters Creative Nonfiction Prize. Her debut book "All Who Live on Islands" has got a 4.7 rating on Goodreads! Her writing is honest and moving as she covers themes of race, gender, class and belonging. Her work has been published in Sport, The Pantograph Punch, Turbine Kapohau and Mimicry. Her undergraduate degree was in mechatronics engineering, and she has worked as a software developer since 2012.

We will be talking about what life is like as a Chinese immigrant growing up in NZ, yummy Chinese food and how our experiences shape us into who we are today.
